When looking for products to use on our babies and children, it’s hard to locate any that are free of dangerous or toxic chemicals.
You can use essential oils to create your own diaper cream that is safe and non-toxic.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil – You can find coconut oil at your local grocery store
- 6 drops Frankincense
- 6 drops Lavender
- 6 drops Tea Tree
Whip the coconut oil first with a hand mixer. In a separate container, blend the three essential oils. Then, add the essential oils to the whipped coconut oil and stir until mixed.
Transfer the mixture to a glass container (a canning jar will work well here!).
*For children 3 and over. If using on a child under 3, use only Lavender and Tea Tree. If using on a child under 6 months, use only Lavender.**
