Warts are small, rough, flesh-colored skin growths that are usually harmless. Although warts have a tendency to disappear on their own, they may cause you embarrassment and discomfort. Common warts appear on the hands or fingers, but other types of warts can appear on other parts of the body; these include plantar warts and flat warts.  Clove oil is used in aromatherapy to treat warts; however, there are different types of clove oil, and it is important to know which type of clove oil to use.  Clove oil is a strong antiseptic and has strong anti-infectious properties. It is used as an alternative treatment for athlete's foot, acne, wounds, cuts and ulcers, and to prevent contagious illnesses and bacterial infections. Tea tree oil is also often recommended for the treatment of warts.

- Apply Simply Aroma's Clove oil directly onto the wart, without dilution. Cover the wart with an adhesive band-aid after treatment. Continue the treatment once a day until the wart shrivels up and drops off.

- If you have sensitive skin, dilute Clove oil in a carrier oil before applying it to the wart, to reduce potential irritation or inflammation.
