PURELY suggests checking with your doctor before trying any essential oils. What works for someone might not work for you. Be aware that essential oils can cause allergic reactions. If essential oils seem to be working better than medication, you might want to discuss the matter first with your doctor before deciding to stop using the medication.

There are safety guidelines that should be followed when using essential oils:

1 - Oral consumption of oils is a personal choice, and PURELY cannot make that decision for you.  Depending on what you're treating, topical application or inhalation may be more effective.

2 - PURELY recommends seeking advice from your medical professional before any treatment with an essential oil.

3 - Oils should be properly diluted and tested in a small area of skin prior to full use.

4 - Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun for at least 12 hours after applying citrus oils.

5 - Discontinue the use of any essential oil if you experience severe skin, stomach, or respiratory irritation or discomfort.

6 - Essential oils should not be used in the eyes, inside the ear canal, or in open wounds. In the event of accidental contact with the eye, dilute with vegetable oil NOT water.
